Cambridge Scouting Alumni Association
MISSION STATEMENT
The Cambridge Scouting Alumni Association is dedicated to fostering and maintaining the bonds of scouting across generations. Our mission is to bring together past, present, and future scouts through reunions, gatherings, and shared experiences that celebrate the traditions of scouting while building new friendships.
We are committed to supporting service projects that benefit both the scouting community and the wider community of Cambridge and surrounding cities and towns. By lending our time, skills, and resources, we aim to strengthen scouting’s role as a force for positive change and community service.
Equally important, we strive to provide mentorship to current and future scouts, offering guidance, encouragement, and the wisdom gained from our own scouting journeys. Through this mentorship, we hope to inspire leadership, character, and a lifelong commitment to the values of scouting.
We do this to honor more than 100 years of past leaders, families, and community members who worked tirelessly to keep scouting values strong through their belief in the program and their dedicated efforts. Their conviction that scouting is an essential leadership training ground for youth continues to guide us. Today, we see the development of young leaders as more important than ever, and we are committed to ensuring that scouting remains a vibrant pathway for growth, responsibility, and service.
In all that we do, we seek to continue the fellowship of scouting, creating opportunities for connection, service, and growth. Our goal is to preserve and encourage the traditions of scouting so that they remain a lasting presence and positive force for generations past, present, and yet to come.
